I did not know he was going to do this, so I am a bit flustered.

We had spoken of romance before, and he seemed shocked that I had never been in a relationship. That is to say, I understand where this is coming from. And I appreciate the sentiment. I have simply never had anything so personal put in a forum so public before.

I don't think I can make an accurate judgment. However, I don't see any reason to not meet with him.

At the very least, you may form a new friendship.
