[For what it's worth, Jason does look like he feels super guilty, and he sighs, leaning back into the couch.]

we broke up. I wasn't trying to keep it a secret or anything, it just never really came up. And it's not exactly fun to talk about, so it's not the kind of thing you want to just bring up out of nowhere, you know?

[It's hard to stay mad at Jason when he looks like that. Guilty and sad. Welp. Any anger and frustration Leo felt disappears in a split second and he decides to flop on the couch next to his friend.]

You didn't have to hide it, you know? I know talking about feelings isn't my strong suit, but dude, you shouldn't have held this all in this long! [Especially because Leo knows he's talked about Piper to him plenty. Whoops.]

Are you good? Like, are you holding up okay? I guess you don't have to give me all the deets, but this was definitely not the news I was expecting to hear today.

I wasn't holding it in. I mean, I told Nico. [A beat as he considers that, and he winces.] Not that I was picking him over you or anything. He just happened to mention me being taken and it seemed weirder to not say anything then.

Either way, it's still a relief that Leo doesn't seem too upset. A breath eases out of Jason and he leans to bump shoulders with Leo.]

Seriously, though, I'm fine. I think it was probably for the best.

[There's a part of Leo that does get jealous when Jason mentions talking to Nico about it. HE'S supposed to be Jason's bestfriend, and he talked to someone else first?? But Leo takes a deep breath, reminding himself that Jason is allowed to be friends with other people, and that maybe he just didn't want to tell him since he hadn't experienced it yet. Jason and Nico were in agreement about not telling Percy all the future, after all.]

Really? You two seemed all lovey-dovey-smoochie-smooch on the quest. [A beat, and then he nudges Jason playfully.]

Don't tell me, you're in love with Percy.

[HE'S JUST TEASING AND POKING FUN AT HIM AFTER THE WHOLE HOUSEWARMING PARTY... but seriously though, just about everyone at camp was head over heels for the guy. What was up with that? He was pretty cool and all, but eh.]
