What can I say, I was an optimistic 10-year-old.

Not judging your 'friend' but I didn't know eating snow was something it was normal to do. But you can tell your friend they'll most likely be fine but probably be careful about eating snow in the future.

Often- the glitter wasn't my best work but it was one of my more successful pranks.

i was the "put bugs in peoples shoes" kinda guy myself

Bugs are always a classic- when I was younger I got large, fake bugs and glued them on the inside of a lampshade so when Palmer turned the light on he saw the shadows of large cockroaches.

The wireless mouse was one of my favorites- connect a wireless mouse to someone's computer and take control while remaining out of sight. The trick is to do it randomly over a long period of time when they least expect it.
